Joey had been working long hours leaving Eloise to fend for herself around the house.  This was fine with El since her patience had been wearing thin.  She only found solace in her garden.  Basically what i’m saying is, Joey was getting on her damn NERVES!  He was too clingy, too lovey and the bigger El got the less time she had fo’ dat.  So yeah, there was a bit of a strain on their relationship but honestly who can blame Eloise?  She’s 9 months pregnant, first baby, she doesn’t even know if her internal organs are still there, she’s always uncomfortable and any time she lays down she…..

Oh shit… I think her water broke!  Where the fuck is Joey?!?!

Eloise tried to labor as much as she could at home.  She walked around, tried to eat but couldn’t, tried breathing techniques but all that shit they taught her and Joey in childbirth class went out the window when that pain hit.  Felt like a semi-truck and godzilla were having sex in her pelvis…

She decided to get dressed and ready for the hospital. Her bag had been packed about 2 months ago. The contractions were coming back to back as the sun rose.  Joey had the nerve to come home from work and put his pajamas on talkin’ bout “What’s wrong baby?"  Poor Joey was clueless.  So El proceeded to show him the growth protruding from the front of her and replied "Hospital… NOWWWW!”

So Joey did what any man would do when his wife is in labor: He called his boy Pete over for moral support. 

Damn it Joey!

By the time Pete arrived, El was half way to the damn hospital….

I mean, she wasn’t sick ALL the time.  Most of the time she could still work in her garden and enjoy feeling little wiggles and squirms in her belly.  Joey simply could NOT keep his hands off of her or the life growing inside of her.  He was head over heels.  Always asking if the baby was kicking, one hand always on the baby.

He tried to pretend like it was a joke when he told her he wanted five children… the look on her face said it all.  She loved the idea of a big family, just not carrying all them babies.  It was bad enough she was being stretched and pulled in all different directions already.

Maybe she would though, who knows.  She loved the way he loved her and she loved the way he couldn’t keep himself away from her.  It was a side of Joey she hadn’t seen and knew in her heart he was going to be an amazing father.

Poor Eloise.

She was becoming very familiar with the bathroom as the weeks went by.  She always had to pee.  She always had to puke.  She was no longer thrilled with this whole pregnancy thing anymore.

And Joey?  He tried to be as supportive as he could but there was only so much he could do.  As you can see, the “so much he could do” was primarily stuffing his face with El’s food.  Talk about packing on the pregnancy weight! Damn Joey!

Speaking of Cherry…..

While Pete was chatting it up with Joey asking about baby names and what not, his cell starts buzzing and it’s Cherry….  When she asked if he’d like to come over for dinner he hollered out “DEUCES!” to his bro and ran out of there like Usain Bolt getting caught shoplifting…

He dug her place, learned that she lived there with her sister Chessa.  Everything was pink which made Peter itch.  Cherry seemed pretty cool.  She had great conversation but the first thing he noticed?  Come on now ya’ll…

The usual get-to-know-you convo ensued with a little flirtation thrown in for good measure.  She flirted, he flirted back.  It took every thing he had to not grow wood…

As they headed back to the kitchen to put away their dishes, Peter could feel her eyes on his back, he turned to look and caught those big brown eyes…. he stopped, forcing her to almost run into him (this is an old playa move, take notes). 

He caught her gaze…..

He held her hands….

He wanted to go in for the kiss but nah… not Cherry.  She seemed classier than what he was used to.

She hugged him (her fro smelled like cherries.. fucking SERIOUSLY?) and told him that she had to leave for work but she appreciated having him over for dinner.

Ahhh Joey if he only knew about all the good things Eloise has been growing in her garden.  Literally and figuratively (wink)

But soon he would learn that all the nastiness, stank and filth that went down on his wedding night would pay off. 

Eloise surprised him with the good news.  She took a pregnancy test that morning after auntie flo skipped over her house that week.  Auntie flo… hate that bitch.  But I digress….

Joey’s reaction was priceless!  He squealed like a pig, ran through the house at full speed stopping periodically to do the dougie, did a back flip and started singing “Who run the wooooorrrrrrrrrrld”… it was crazy, you had to be there.

He had to break the news to his best friend so he dusted off the grill, seasoned up some chicken and called him over.

“I got big news man, big news”

Peter, with a smirk on his face and a swell in his heart was so happy for his homeboy.  In fact, Peter was a little jealous.  He better start getting to know this Cherry chick soon.  He’d never admit it, but he loved Joey’s family values and how, growing up, he was never on that player shit.  He kept all this to himself and simply replied:

“So all those years of shooting blanks into your gym socks while watching "Back Door Sims Vol. 69” finally paid off huh?“

After a pep talk from his best man Peter, Joey was ready for his big day.

It was a beautiful ceremony and the day he’d been waiting on his whole life (next to the birth of his first born of course).

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reese Markham

After the ceremony, no one could figure out who the blonde was.  Joey didn’t know her and neither did El… I don’t think either one of them invited her.  She stayed at the bar the whole damn night…

Joey and Eloise consummated their marriage that night… all over the house with their freaky asses…  The couches, the counters, the dining room table, the sink, the tub, the lamp, the porch, the fucking RIVER yo!

All that excitement was just too much for Joey.

Joey was pretty surprised at how well he and El (his little nickname for her besides his other nickname for her which is strictly for bedroom use: “Babybootyclap”) were getting along.  It’s like they were made for each other by some sort of master controller person who created them in some strange create-a-person part of the universe…

Turns out, not only was Eloise handy in the kitchen, she also had mad gardening skills and could grow all kinds of things.  “Only the freshest for my Joeyboo.”

Joey was quite the fisherman too!  Fresh fish for dinner was a favorite with these two.

They hadn’t even been in love or lived together for that long and Joey was going to have a damn stroke and piss himself if he didn’t pop the question soon. The bros had already given their seal of approval.

So, he caught her making breakfast one morning and with the urgency of a sperm swimming to fertilize an egg, he dropped to one knee and asked for El’s hand in marriage.

She said yes!

Freakin’ love birds.  Get a room already.

He ended up having them over the next day to watch the game.  Turns out ‘ol Pete just met a new lady too.  Some girl named Cherry…..

Pete’s main concern as always “Bruh.  Can she cook tho? Is the ass right?”

So back to Joey….

Things didn’t work out so well with Lauren.  Apparently she wasn’t ready to move in.  Joey moves too fast, yadda yadda.  Screw you right? 

Poor Joey. 

But he remembered a woman he met at the coffee shop one morning…

Her name was Eloise.  He called her… wait…. he called Lauren first and told her to go play in traffic.  So he called Eloise and invited her over for dinner.  She jumped right in and cooked even though HE did the inviting!  She was an amazing cook and made an excellent salad.  Joey being the meat and potatoes man that he was didn’t mind.  He thought it was cute that she took pictures of her food and thought salad was a meal fit for a man…

She wasn’t just cute though, she was gorgeous. 

Joey thought she smelled like shrimp and steak.  Eloise thought he was hilarious.

Joey, in a rush to start his family, tried to make a move.

Eloise wasn’t having it though. 

Poor Joey….

But see, Joey has strong hands and knew she wouldn’t be able to resist a massage.

She couldn’t..

Joey put his game face on and went in for the kill.

While they locked lips, Joey was trying to calculate her ring size and if the circumference of her hips would result in 5 or more children.

The words hung over me like a storm cloud.  How could I let this man back into my home?  We never talked much about his “disappearance”… all he would say is “I just had to get away.”

But why leave me?  Why?  There was so much passion….

And now there is nothing… Just questions.  Suspicion.  And a couch for him to sleep on.  I admit to being frightened, I am afraid.  I don’t know the circumstances surrounding the charges… I could get a copy of the police report right? Something.. anything…

My thoughts were violently interrupted as I heard the creak of the door open.  The butterflies have returned.

There could have been so many reasons why he left. He just disappeared.  No explanation.  No call.  It had been years since he was gone.  He’d only been back for a month now and I trusted him like I did a stranger….  So I did what anyone would do: I googled the shit out of him..

Every time the phone rang he left… it was always with haste.  Where was he going?  Who was he going to see?  I tried to listen in, but I typed with the ferocity of a wolf and couldn’t hear his whispered speech over the sounds of my own keystrokes.

 When he left, I felt relieved… the butterflies in my stomach flew away.

now that i’ve been playing for a few weeks, i know what i feel like i’m missing in my game in terms of clothing. the biggest glaring omission was better sleepwear. i don’t sleep in a sexy chemise every night, nor do i sleep in a robe. ever. nightshirts are the way to go. I’ve included 23 separate recolors that get rid of the stripes and add better colors and patterns. they have been tested in game, and do not replace any of the default colors. they are a full body item, meaning that you can layer leggings underneath and wear it as a tunic for the daytime as well. not all of the recolors are pictured here, since tumblr only lets you post 10.

  • twenty three new shirts– these are recolors of the night shirt included in the sims 4 full game.
  • non-default – (it will show up in the preview of the shirt and will not replace any other default or non-default colors)
  • problems – please let me know if you have any issues. i would be happy to fix them.
  • terms – don’t claim as your own or upload. please respect my work. if you feel like it, tag me so i can see it in your game!
