Later that evening, Alex realized her error in snapping at her husband earlier.  She was very apologetic.  Larry, however, would not let her apologize.  Yes, he was still a young man with friends who liked to go out and buy rounds of beer.  He was also a husband trying to start a family.  He told Alex that he was irresponsible and would be more aware of the time when he was out.  Alex still felt bad about it.  She didn’t want to be “one of those wives”. 

They slept it out.  Falling asleep to the sound of their synchronized breathing.

Larry woke up, took a shower, got dressed and started eating.  No word about him wandering in as the sun came up.  Alex waited, and waited, and waited.  Nothing.  So she did what any hormonal woman would do after seeing several negative results on her pregnancy tests: She snapped.  Larry still had a bit of alcohol in his system so he kept his mouth shut.

What Indya and Jerrilee didn’t realize is that Indya’s mother was released from prison years ago and went back to their abusive father.  The permanent scar under her eye was a result of having to spend an extra year in prison for a fight.  She didn’t get the scar in prison, she got it when she returned home.  Punishment for making that horrible man raise Indya.  Indya cried… she remembered this woman.  She asked her if she was her mother years ago.  She asked why she didn’t tell her.  No answer.  She couldn’t answer.  What she would do, she said, was cover for them.

She wanted him dead too.

Knight-Night at the bar meant two for ones all night.  Larry’s old roommates called him down for drinks.  Larry enjoyed the time around his friends, perhaps a bit too much.

He arrived home at 5:30 am completely wasted.  Alex chose not to disturb him and kicked around a number of reasons why she shouldn’t confront him about it.  She decided to see if he would acknowledge it himself.  That is, once he woke up from his beer-induced coma.

Alex didn’t realize the process of starting a family would be so frustrating.  Larry was able to calm her nerves by reminding her they could practice every single night.  He suggested caramel corn and a bad movie to get her mind off of it.

Before the flight back home, Alex and Larry took one last walk along the stream.  Larry confessed to his wife that he was ready to start a family. 

The feeling was mutual.

On their last day in the mountains, Larry told Alex they could do whatever she wanted.  It was the mountains after all and Alex wanted to fish.  She showed Larry all that she knew.

Alex and Larry have officially begun their honeymoon in the mountains.  There will be no sleeping in tents for this occasion, Larry secured a romantic honeymoon suite.  Larry has truly outdone himself.

Alex has very, very thick hair which is why she prefers to keep it braided. However, the dreaded “wash day” was upon her.  Wash day is an all day event.  She has to moisturize first, detangle, wash, deep condition, give herself a hot oil treatment then twist it and keep it wrapped up for hours.
Although Larry was busy with his tech business, he made sure that his wife had a wonderful meal after all that work.

Alex was trying to find the perfect spot to exchange vows.  No big wedding, no big crowds.  It was becoming stressful for her.  Larry, specifically, always seemed uninterested when she was planning.  Alex tried to remind herself that Larry’s tech business was growing fast, however if she didn’t say anything, how would he know it was affecting her?

With one sarcastic remark, Larry knew.  The house was silent for the remainder of the evening.

It would appear that bug bite from her time in the mountains was more serious than Alex had originally thought.  Unfortunate, considering she and Larry are planning to elope in a few short days.

Larry’s old roommates took him out to the bar to celebrate his engagement.  They drank way more than was necessary for a gathering such as this.  After Larry won the first friendly game of foosball, his old roommates conspired to cheat.  Larry, however, caught on quick and called  them out. Fun times were had by all.

Meanwhile, as Larry made his way home, he wondered how they were managing to survive without him.

This time for date night, Larry took Alex to the next town over for the best cupcakes ever created.  The bakery was always packed so they took their order outside.

Afterwards, the two took a walk and discussed their wedding plans.

Larry is now able to pay the bills.  His IT skills have increased and he is now able to sell game mods, hack systems and do freelance work.

Alex and Larry wasted no time scheduling the photo shoot to celebrate their engagement.  The prints were immediately framed and placed on the wall.

While Alex loves the outdoors and wanted to return to the mountains because of it, Larry had fallen in love with Alex and wanted to make her his wife because of it.

Alex and Larry made it back to the mountains.  Larry got started
on his famous grilled kebobs while Alex went off to explore.  She found
herself deep in the woods and in awe of the most beautiful surroundings
she’d ever seen. It took her breath away and she completely lost track of time.

Meanwhile, Larry wondered if she’d ever make it back.

Larry wondered why the bathroom smelled so nice after Alex took a bath.  She was so relaxed afterwards.  So he just started pouring salts, powders and other things from random jars he found in the bathroom into the water. 

He couldn’t handle that level of relaxation. No wonder Alex’s baths took so long.

Meanwhile, Larry has found a way to bring income into the house by programming, designing game mods and selling his plug-ins for various software programs.  Turns out, he didn’t need a regular job after all.

After consuming what quite possibly was the most epic breakfast of champions, Larry starts up a pot of coffee for Alex whom he assumed would be waking soon.  He was right.  He was also very happy lately.  He couldn’t wait to get back to the mountains with her.  She wondered what he had up his sleeve.

An executive decision has been made to return to the mountains.  Alex and Larry are very happy about going back.
