Basically my main game save is totally corrupted.  None of the GTW work lots are showing up. I discovered this after entering one of my sims into the Detective Career and trying to follow him to work. After much googling, repairing the game, testing CC, and a complete uninstall/reinstall (which took forever) I finally removed the saves and tried out the game.  Lo and behold, everything shoes up. It’s my main save that is borked.  The main save that includes Larry/Alex, Indya, The Harris family, all of my custom lots, etc. 

I know, sad face.  Tears runneth.

I’m going to play out my current sims but, eventually (and probably when the new game pack comes out) i’m going to delete the saves and start over fresh.  There will be new characters and some great gameplay shots! But alas, it must be done.

Oh sweetheart I’m so sorry!! That’s the absolute worst.. Do you remember backing them up anywhere??

Never fear.. Also check your gallery. The actual sims might be saved in there. You might have lost their lots and all. But they still may be some hope!! Xx

I know!!! I am in mourning lol.  But yeah, I backed up the saves and thats how I found out what the issue was because as soon as I put the main one back BOOM … borked.  I was thinking of doing just what you suggested: saving all my sims to the gallery so at least I still have them.  The lots I have in my gallery too.  It’s going to be a pain the ass starting over but not the end of the world.
